"It's the second (and last) time that I will ever stay there. My first visit was about a year ago. When I got the room, the advertised microwave and refrigerator were missing. So much for keeping my insulin refrigerated. Upon checking in this time, I was asked if it was going to be a problem that there was no air conditioning in the room - they would provide me with a fan instead. The fact that it was over 100 degrees and I needed to take a quick afternoon nap before my evening engagement - yes, that would be a problem. So they switched me to another room. I turned the AC on and fell right asleep in the new room. An hour later, I awoke drenched in sweat. The AC didn't work in this room either. I went to the office to ask for that fan. After explaining my situation, I was asked to wait a minute. After helping the gentleman already at the counter, I watched three more people come in after me, be checked-in and sent off to their rooms. Now I was running late and just left with the promise that someone would be up after a while to look at the AC. (No one came while I was there) I was told to just pour water over the outside of the AC. When I returned to the room, my keycard had been cancelled. Another trip to the lobby to wait in line to get the card reactivated. (still no fan or the offer of another room) I was told that I couldn't be transferred to another room because none were avail. Never did get a fan. Days Inn seems to be on par with Motel 6. The dreggs. I'll never stay at a Days Inn again, and I'll advise anyone else I know to do the same."
